Exhaust emissions clean-up concepts
Do you require a clean-up concept to reduce the emissions of your business or of an individual plant because it no longer fulfils the requirements of the Swiss Air Pollution Ordinance or because excessive immissions have been detected?

• Exhaust emissions clean-up: As a manufacturer-neutral consultant, we can evaluate the best solution for reducing your facility’s pollutant and odour emissions.
• Reduction of fugitive emissions: We advise you on how to use cutting-edge technology to reduce fugitive VOC and dust emissions.

Emissions and reports

• VOC reports: We can draw up or check your VOC emissions report in accordance with Article 10 of the Swiss Ordinance on the Incentive Tax on Volatile Organic Compounds (OVOC).
• Emissions statements and emissions inventories: We can draw up an emissions statement for your business in accordance with Article 12 of the Swiss Air Pollution Ordinance that contains all the information required for the assessment, including emissions of each airborne pollutant per hour or per year, discharge location, stack height, etc.
  We can draw up an emissions forecast for new plants.

Stack height calculations

• We determine the required stack height for your facility in accordance with Appendix 6 of the Swiss Air Pollution Ordinance or in line with the stack recommendations issued by FOEN.
• Where necessary or required, we can optimise the stack height by means of an immissions assessment.

Immissions assessments

• We use computer modelling to draw up immissions forecasts to assess the airborne pollutant and odour immissions of your facility.
• We can help you to develop measures designed to mitigate immissions.

Odours

• We provide olfactometric measurements of odour emissions.
• We can draw up an odour assessment in accordance with the FOEN Odours Recommendation.
• We can draw up immissions forecasts using computer modelling.
• We develop clean-up concepts to prevent odour immissions.

Air pollution control on construction sites

• We can assess the emissions impact of construction sites and draw up the necessary measures in accordance with the FOEN guidelines on air pollution control on construction sites.
• We can assess the emissions impact of building contractor transport and draw up the necessary measures in accordance with the FOEN guidelines on air pollution control on construction sites.
