Support programme for heating networks
The following energy sources are eligible for funding:
- Biomasse
- Waste heat from water or waste water
- Industrial waste heat
- Waste heat from waste incineration plants (KVA)
Advantages of participating in the program
There are a number of reasons why the heat network subsidy program is very attractive for operators of heat networks. It includes an annual subsidy of CHF 100 to 160 per reduced tonne of CO₂ until the end of 2030. In addition, a preliminary assessment is carried out very quickly and does not involve any costs for the heat network operator. The costs for carrying out the annual monitoring and verification are also covered in full by the KliK Foundation.
Non-binding registration
Are you currently planning a heating network with a renewable heat source, or would you like to expand an existing heating network with a renewable energy source? Then register free of charge and without obligation. You can download the registration form from the KliK Foundation website (information and registration for the funding program), fill it in and send it to us by email. Our e-mail address is:
waermeverbuende@neosys.ch.
If you have any questions about the funding program, you can also send them to this email address.
Attention: Applications only possible until the end of 2025
The funding program for heating networks with climate-friendly energy sources can only accept new projects until the end of 2025. This is due to the fact that the statutory offsetting obligation for fuel importers and thus the mandate for the KliK Foundation to finance climate protection projects still applies until the end of 2030. A continuation beyond that is still uncertain. It is therefore still possible to register a new or expanded heating network with renewable energy sources until 31.12.2025 at the latest. In order to receive funding, a project must be registered with the programme before the first significant order is placed (e.g. boiler order or work contract).
Our services:
- Supervision of newly registered projects included in the programme
- Review of the inclusion criteria for newly registered projects
- Answering any queries about the heating networks programme
- Implementation of annual monitoring (data collection, calculation of emissions saved and funding amount per project, contact with heat network operators, exchange with verification body)
- Validation of the heating networks programme
